26th Command: There can be no stairs leading up to the altar

COMMAND

Exodus 20:26 KJV – Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.

REASON

Exodus 20:26 KJV – 26 Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.

NOTE: The priests wore robes and if you were under them you could see their “nakedness”. Hence the reason for no steps.
