PAUL:
Galatians 2:21 (KJV) I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness [come] by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Two foreign concepts to True Scripture. 1. The idea of ‘Grace’. Jesus never mentioned grace. 2. That practicing the law, keeping the commandments, does not make a person righteous. Righteousness is being in right standing with YHWH God. From Genesis to the 3rd Gospel we see DOING WHAT GOD SAYS TO DO, is how we become righteous.
The law makes people righteous:
MOSES:
Deuteronomy 6:25 (KJV) And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.
Zacharias & Elisabeth:
Luke 1:6 (KJV) And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
How were they righteous? “…walking in all of the commandments…”
JESUS:
It’s by keeping the commandments that we enter into eternal life:
Matthew 19:16-17 (KJV) 16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
