Commandments 63 – 68

Exodus 23:1 KJV
[1] Thou shalt not raise a false report:

[2] put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

Exodus 23:2 KJV
[3] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil;

[4] neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:

[5] Neither shalt thou countenance [ הָדַר hadar ] a poor man in his cause.

[1] “You shall not circulate a false report.

[2] Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

Exodus 23:2 NKJV
[3] “You shall not follow a crowd to do evil;

[4] nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after many to pervert justice.

Exodus 23:3 NKJV
[5] “You shall not show partiality to a poor man in his dispute.

Exodus 23:1 NLT
[1] “You must not pass along false rumors.

[2] You must not cooperate with evil people by lying on the witness stand.

Exodus 23:2 NLT
[3] “You must not follow the crowd in doing wrong.

[4] When you are called to testify in a dispute, do not be swayed by the crowd to twist justice.

[5] And do not slant your testimony in favor of a person just because that person is poor.
