How Disciples Communicate

How Disciples Communicate

Summary:

We are not to be called a guide, teacher, master. [ see #1]

Only Jesus, and The Father, are our guides, teachers, and masters. [ see #1 ]

We are to instill the commandments (specifically, into our children)  [see #2]

We are to publish, proclaim openly the Gospel [see #3]

We are not to add or take away one word from Yahweh in scripture.  [see #4]

We are not to make vows [see #5]

Our ‘yes’ should mean “yes”, and our “no” should mean “no” [see  #5]

We are to say “We are unprofitable servants: wehave done that which was our duty to do”. [see #6]

How we Pray [see #7]

We are to say “The kingdom of heaven is at hand” to the lost. [see #8}

What we hear in the dark we speak in the light [see #9]

What we hear in the ear we are to yell from the housetops [see #9]

We are to make Disciples of Jesus [see #10]

Because of these direct commands from Yahweh and Jesus, we quote Yahweh and Jesus verbatim. This is letting them teach, guide, instill through our lips.

When we are not quoting directly, we make it clear that we are discussing the topic, and that our discussion , being our own words, may be wrong.

Finally we tell people the Gospel openly in public and everywhere.

But what is the Gospel according to True Jesus in the Synoptics Gospels [Matthew Mark Luke].

Sources:

Jesus said “Call no man ῥαββί rhabbi

, for one is ῥαββί rhabbi

, the Messiah”…Call no man

καθηγητής kathēgētēs

For one is your

καθηγητής kathēgētēs, the Messiah”.

ῥαββί rhabbi is a teacher of the things of God.

καθηγητής kathēgētēs is a guide, or a master or teacher.

So only Jesus is our Kathegetes and rabbi. Or, only Jesus is our teacher, guide, and master.

Deuteronomy 6:7 “You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

Teach [them diligently] = שָׁנַן shânan which means, “Instill (an attitude, idea, or habit) by persistent instruction.” It also means to “pierce through”.

Preach or Proclaim:

Mark 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”

Luke 9:2 He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Preach: κηρύσσω kērýssō means to publish, proclaim openly

We are also never to add to the law

Deuteronomy 4:2  “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Deuteronomy 12:32 “Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it.
